About Us
TAWTO is a non-profitable organization found and run by women, for women, with the aim and vision to give a voice to women tour operators, to promote women to participate and enter the tourism industry and to promote economic growth to the tourism industry in Tanzania.
TAWTO is legally registered under The Societies Act {CAP.337 R.E 2002} with registration number S.A 22935. It is also registered with The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and assigned the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) 155-605-553.

Mission Statement
- 9To inspire and support more women to participate in tourism activities in Tanzania;
- 9To promote the general interests of the Members of the Association by developing, promoting, raising funds, receiving grants and providing any other assistance to support the Association’s activities as provided by this Constitution and the Covenants;
- 9To establish friendly cooperation between Members with aligned Associations, other Institutions and Government Organs towards the promotion of tourism activities in Tanzania;
- 9To do all things deemed necessary to support the Association.
